The all new EV CUP race series which will take place for the first time in 2011.
The cup is to be contented in three different categories, CityEV, SportsEV and PrototypeEV.
CityEV class will be focused on city driven electric cars, the cars themselves will be modified to race specification and will be cars commonly seen on city streets.
SportsEV class will consist of specially designed sports cars for the electric generation, the Lightning GT car will have four independent motors, one for each wheel. There will also be the Westfield iRacer and the Ginetta G50EV.
PrototypeEV class will be for technically advanced concepts which are set to be the among the fastest electrical cars on track. The design prototypes will be able to set track times to enable them to progress the models on to the next level in engineering.
